We are currently accepting applications for a high-energy, experienced Sales Professionals to work in our Portland, OR and Agoura Hills, CA showrooms. High earning potential for dedicated and enthusiastic sales professionals.
Sales experience in the Rugs and/or Home Furnishings business a big plus.

Must have a car, valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Willing and able to work in any/all of the three (3) Portland metro Showrooms: Jantzen Beach, Tanasbourne, Wilsonville.
Basic computer skills – Word, Excel, email, web, social media.
Be team-oriented and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds on a daily, ongoing basis.
Climb six foot ladder to hang rugs in racks.
Be assertive, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible.
Can be trusted to maintain confidentiality and advocate company values.
Must pass a pre-hire drug screen, background check and complete a physical.
Present a consistent, professional appearance and image.
Sell Rugs, Furniture & Home Accessories
Sales Professionals at NW Rugs expertly assist customers and designers.
Listen carefully and handle customer questions effectively.
Maintain strong, ongoing working relationships with customers and designers.
Work as an integral part of a professional team committed to excellence and success.
Maintain an attractive, tasteful, clean showroom, includes vacuuming, dusting, etc.
Actively participate in ongoing, industry specific sales training program.
Must meet sales goals consistently.
Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Days off are during the week – No weekends off
Medical & Dental (after 90- days of service)
Vacation and a matching 401K benefit package, (both after 1 year of service)
Monthly guarantee with additional commission dependent upon closed sales. Payday twice monthly.
